the name Adriana Delgado as the only boxers from Albuquerque, New Mexico to
become World Champion's.
Adriana captured the vacant IFBA Bantamweight championship with a unanimous
decision over Canadian Kathy Williams at Sky Ute Casio in Ignacio, Colorado.
Adriana, who had never fought past 6 rounds in her career, out fought
Collins in the later part of the ten round fight to bring home the title.
All three judges were in agreement, as they scored the fight all in
Adriana's favor, 97-93 twice, while the third had it 98-94 all for
"The New IFBA Bantamweight Champion of The World".
